Tommy Kent As long as I can recall, athletics were always something that fascinated me. Regardless of what specific sport was being played I took notice of the human body and how magnificent it truly is! It took me to the age of ninteen to begin exploring the world of fitness and further discover the awesome machine we call the body. Now, ten years later, I feel extremely fortunate to have gone through the steps to becoming a fitness professional and enabling myself to help others reach their true potential in life! It’s never too late to transform yourself into what you’ve always aspired to be. Taking the first step is always the most difficult part of any plan and having faith in yourself and others around you is the key to taking that first step. Believe in your ability to adapt to the challenges ahead and the sky is the limit.
My goal is to help you attain that confidence and guide you down the road to success. Through communicating and proper planning we will travel that road together making sure you take the necessary steps to achieve your goals...”What the mind can conceive/believe, it can achieve.” My client base ranges immensely in age, goal setting and ability. I have a great deal of experience developing cardiovascular, strength and flexibility/range of motion programs for my clients. I also love developing sport specific routines for my athletes and routines for my “every day” hard working adults to help them over-come plateau and to get rid of nagging aches and pains. As I had mentioned, I have been involved in fitness for ten years, but six of those have been as a health and fitness professional. I have completed ACE (American Council on Exercise) and NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) certifications and continue to build my education through health seminars, adding nationally recognized certifications and hands-on experience from working with a variety of clients/health care professionals. The health and fitness industry is continually changing and as a professional privately contracted personal trainer, it is important to change/grow with the industry to help myself standout from the average trainer and provide my clients with the best service/experience that I possibly can!!!
